EID AL-ADHA on the 10th of Dzulhijjah is also known as "Eid Al-Adha", where the Muslims who are performing the main hajj, namely standing in Arafah. They all wear white and unsewing clothing, which is called ihram clothes, symbolizing the equality of faith and the view of life, has a value setting that is the value of equality in all aspects of the sphere of life.

Not to be distinguished between them, everything felt equal. It is closer to the Almighty God, while simultaneously reading the Talbiyah sentence.

Besides Eid al-Adha is called the Feast of Hajj, also called "Idul Qurban", because on that day God gives us the opportunity to draw closer to him.

For Muslims who have not been able to do Hajj travel, then it is given the opportunity to sacrifice, by slaughtering Qurban animal as a symbol of our piety and love to Allah SWT.

If we look at the historical side of this Eid al-Adha celebration, then our minds will remember the story of the Prophet Ibrahim's example, when he was commanded by Allah SWT to place his wife Hajar with his son's prophet Ismail, who was then still breastfeeding. They were placed in a barren, arid valley, not growing a tree.

The valley is so quiet and deserted there is no one's inhabitants. Prophet Ibrahim himself did not know, what is the real intent of the revelation of God who had to put his wife and his infant son, placed in a most foreign place, in the north of approximately 1600 KM from his own Palestinian country.

But neither the Prophet Ibrahim, maupin his wife Siti Hajar, accepted the order with sincerity and full of Tawakkal.

Because of the importance of the event. God has it in the Qur'an:

It means: O Our Lord, I have placed some of my descendants in a valley that has no tilled fields near your house (Baitullah) that is glorified. O Our Lord (so it is) that they should establish prayer. Then make Gati as human beings tend to them and have them from fruits, hopefully they are grateful. (QS Ibrahim: 37)

As said by Ibn ' Abbas that when Siti Hajar was out of drinking water and unusual feeding the prophet Ismail, he searched for water in a small run (Sa'i) between the hills of Sofa and Marwah 7 times. Suddenly God sent a Gabriel Angel made the spring Zam Zam. Siti Hajar and Nabi Ismail acquired the source of life.

The once arid valley, has abundant water supply. There came people from various corners, especially the merchants to the place of Siti Hajar and the Prophet Ismail, to buy water.

Come fortune from all over, and be assured of the surrounding area. Finally the valley is famous for the city of Mecca, a safe and prosperous city, thanks to the Prophet Ibrahim's prayer and thanks to the prowess of a mother in managing the city and society. The safe and prosperous city of Mecca is portrayed by Allah to the Prophet Muhammad in the Qur'an:

وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَـَذَا بَلَداً آمِناً وَارْزُقْ أَهْلَهُ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ مَنْ آمَنَ مِنْهُم بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ

It means: And remember when Ibrahim was a prayer: "My lord, make this country, as a safe land in the country and give the peace of the fruits of the people who believe among them to Allah and the day of judgment." (QS Al-Baqarah: 126)

From this verse, we obtain clear evidence that the city of Makkah to this date has abundant prosperity.

Pilgrims from all over the world, obtaining adequate facilities, during the Hajj and Umrah.

It proves the level of modern prosperity, in governance and economics, as well as legal affairs, as a major factor in the marvelous prosperity of people. That is all the evidence, that the Prophet Ibrahim's prayer was granted Allah SWT.

All prosperity is not only enjoyed by Muslims alone. People who are not Muslims also enjoy.

Allah SWT said:

It means: God said: "And to the Kafirpun, I give pleasure while, then I forced him to undergo the torment of hell. And that is as bad a place back. " QS. Al-Baqarah: 126)

Eid al-Adha also named "Idul Nahr" means slaughter feast day. This is to commemorate the toughest test that befalls the Prophet Ibrahim.

As a result of Ibrahim's patience and steadfastness in the face of trials and trials, God gave him a grace, an honour "Khalilullah" (God's Lover).

After the title of Al-Khalil, the angel asked God: "My lord, why do you make Abraham your beloved. In fact he was busy with his wealth and his family? " And Allah said, "Do not judge this servant of Abraham with a measure of Lahiriyah, lo, the content of his heart and his charity!"

As the realization of this word, Allah ALMIGHTY allows the Angels to test the faith and foration of the Prophet Ibrahim. Apparently, his wealth and family and did not make him negligent in his link to God.

In the book "Misykatul Anwar" mentioned that it is said, the Prophet Ibrahim has a wealth of 1000 sheep, 300 oxen, and 100 camel.

Another history says, the Prophet Ibrahim's wealth reaches 12,000 cattle. A number that is according to people in his day is classified as Milliuner. When one day, Ibrahim was asked by someone "who is this cattle?" Then he answered: "Allah belongs, but now is mine. At any time when God wills, I submit them all. Let alone the cattle, if God asked my beloved son Ismail, I will undoubtedly submit. "

Ibn Kathir in the interpretation of Al-Qur'anul ' Adzim said that, the statement of the Prophet Ibrahim who will sacrifice his son if desired by God that is then made a test material, namely God test the faith and Taqwa of the Prophet Ibrahim through his dream Haq, in order for him to sacrifice his 7-year-old son. A beautiful, healthy child, more healthily, to be sacrificed and slaughtered using his own hands. Really terrible! The spectacular event is expressed in the Qur'an:

قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَى فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَى قَالَ يَا أَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِي إِن شَاء اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ

That is: Ibrahim said: "My son Sesungguhnay I saw in a dream that I shoal you" then think about what you think? Ismail replied: O My father shall work what is commanded you. God Willing thou shalt get me, including a patient. " (QS Aa-Saffat: 102)

When the two are ready to execute God's command, Satan comes, saying, "Ibrahim, are you the parents of what kind of people said later, the child is slaughtered?" "What do people do?" "What is not embarrassed? So, the only child is bought! " "Look, the child is as nimble as that!" "His son is smart again, unsightly, his son is obedient as it is cut!" "No more later after that, no more like that! Not necessarily later there is more like him. " The Prophet Ibrahim already had a teeter. He took the stone and said, "Bismillahi Allahu Akbar." The stone was thrown. Finally, all the pilgrims now follow what was once done by this prophet Ibrahim in the casting of demons by throwing stones, saying, "Bismillahi Allahu Akbar". This then becomes one of the series of Hajj that throws the Jamrahs.

When the father was not also swung a knife in his son's neck. Ismail thought his father was hesitant, as he removed his rope strap and hand, in order not to appear an impression or image in history that the child was to be laid down because he was forced to ask his father to swing the knife while turning, so that Not see his face.

The Prophet Ibrahim solidify his intention. The Prophet Ismail resigned in the round, like his father who had been tawakkal. Seconds after the knife was almost moved, God suddenly cried out with his word, telling him to stop his deeds not to be continued sacrifice against his son. God had married both fathers and children to make their tawakkal.

In return for their sincerity, Allah suffice with the slaughter of a goat as a victim, as explained in the Qur'an surah As-Saffat (vv. 107-110):

وَفَدَيْنَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ

"And we redeem the son with a great slaughter."

"We captured Abraham (good praise) among the people who came later."

"That is welfare may be bestowed upon the Prophet Ibrahim."

"So we give replies to those who do good."

Witnessing the tragedy of the slaughter that has no equal in the history of mankind, the angel Gabriel was amazed, while being struck by it a phrase "Allahu Akbar, Alleahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar." The Prophet Ibrahim replied "Laailaha Illahu Allahu Akbar." That was then called by the Prophet Ismail "Allahu Akbar Walillahil Hamdu."

The greatest sacrifice of the Prophet Ibrahim AS in the history of mankind has made Ibrahim a great prophet and apostle, and has great significance.

The event that was experienced by Prophet Ibrahim with the Prophet Ismail above, for us must be interpreted as symbolic message of religion, which contains learning at least three things;

First, piety. The sense of Taqwa is related to the obedience of a servant to the Khalik in carrying out the commandment and avoiding his prohibition. Religious corridor (Islam) packs a life harmoniously as well as world life-Akherat. That mereaih the Good Life (Hasanah) in Akhierat one day will need to go through life in a world that is a field to multiply the virtues and invoke his ridho to achieve the life of the world and the land of Akherat.

So life in the world is not separated from the effort to reach the life of the land in the hereafter. A person's level of fear can thus be measured from his concern for his neighbor.

An example of a representative who has a high level of piety will certainly not utilize the authority that has to enrich himself or even a person like this will feel ashamed if his or her sense is more luxurious than the people who Represents.

Ibrahim's preparedness to slaughter his beloved son in the order of Allah signifies the high level of the piety of the Prophet Ibrahim, so that it does not fall in the life of a perverted hedonist. Then with the power of God turned out that slaughtered not Ismail but sheep.

This event also reflects Islam greatly appreciates life and human life, Islam upholds human civilization.

Second, the relationship between people. The worship of the Muslims commanded by God always contains two inseparable aspects, namely relation to the relationship to Allah (Hablumminnalah) and relationship with fellow man or Hablumminannas.

Islamic teachings are very concerned about social solidarity and have been able to promote their socio-sensitivity through the ritual media. When we fast of course feel how the difficulty of living a DHUA'AFA who fulfill the needs of the pois is difficult everyday. Then by slaughtering the sacrificial animal and sharing it to the people who do not have it is one form of social concern from Muslim to his incapacitated neighbor.

The life of each other helps and mutual assistance in goodness is characteristic of Islamic teachings. The wisdom that can be learned in this context is that a Muslim is reminded to be ready to sacrifice for the happiness of others especially those who are disadvantaged, wary of the temptations of the world so as not to be involved in unpraiseworthy conduct such as Greed, self-centeredness, and neglect of worship to the creator.

Third, self improvement quality. The third wisdom of this religious ritual is to strengthen empathy, self-awareness, control and self-management which is the forerunner of a Muslim's praise. The praiseworthy of the prophet is modeled after helping his fellow man in goodness, virtue, glorifying guests, conducting others (altruism) and always in the exercise of all religious commandments and avoiding forbidden things.

In the Qur'an it is mentioned that the Prophet Muhammad has a great morality (QS Al-Qalam: 4). In Islam the position of chastity is very important is the "fruit" of the Islamic tree Berdah creed and leafy Syari "ah. All human activity is not separated from attitudes that give birth to human deeds and behavior. On the contrary, unblemish morality is ensured from the troubled people in the faith is the mantra of the attributes of the martyrs and demons.

From that history, the city of Makkah and Kaaba as the qibla of Muslims all over the world, with Zam-zam water that never dried, since thousands of years ago, even though every day is being drained by millions of liters, as a milestone of the service of a woman who Most patient and steadfast, namely Siti Hajar and her son Nabi Ismail.

Hikmah that can be taken from the execution of Eid al-Adha prayer, that human nature is the same. The distinguishing is only the Taqwanya. And for those who perform the pilgrimage, at the time of the standing in Arafah give the picture that someday man will be gathered in Mahsyar to be held accountable.
